I am an Auto Mechanic by trade,I own muscle cars and 4x4's.But now I'm headed into uncharted waters for me.I'm buying a 1929 Dodge coupe(I'm a Dodge man) and not sure my direction.I have come here to read, learn, listen and hopfully share my journey. My plans are not set in stone,as all projects change and take time.I would like to keep the basic body, not chop the top, keep the running boards, upgrade the suspension and drivetrain.A first generation hemi is top of the list. That's how I made it here, all you old hemi tech. Here is a pic and thank you for reading.
Welcome! Sounds like a cool project and slightly off the beaten path. This place is a gold mine of information. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Welcome to the hamb from Maine. A friend of ours has a Dodge. I always liked it because it was different.
Hey guys thanks, been busy, but here's an update I bought the car brought it home and put it in storage.Still bad weather around here.Picked up a 354 industrial hemi, looks good and clean will be a good builder.Found a cheap 518 tranny and a 727 for parts,so things are coming together.I have a dana 60 that I'm thinking I mignt use,it has 4:10's and a trac-lok.I have 3:73's I'd rather use.Any thoughts or opinions I'll listen to all.And Devin what did you mean by "slighty off the beaten path".Thanks
