after finishing my big block 55 chevy two years ago, I am now wanting to build a 32 five window highboy, my dream car since the 50s. Am looking for advise on fibergl*** bodies ch***is. Have been all over the web but don't feel I have enough info and thought someone that has been there could give me some advise. Did check out new age motorsports as per the advise someone on this site gave me and was lmpressed with what I saw. Need as much help as I can get before I start writing checks. Willing to help anyone that has Tri 5 questions after the major build I just finished. Pretty sure I know the good the bad and the ugly about 55 chevy builds. Thanks, Rick Whiteacre...R55RAT

The New Age bodies will have alot of the Henry Ford features. Be prepared to wait a bit, they told me it takes roughly a month for each body. Might have a line of orders in front of yours. No doubt one of THE best gl*** options.

I've had a New Age 5 Window and loved it......got a Russ no More 5 Window now out of Louisianna.....but I looked at a Bee Bop 5 Window body at Street Rod Nationals in Louisville last August....they offer the original Steel Drip Rails on their bodies........If I were building today, I'd buy a Bee Bop....think their in Knoxville or somewhere near there.

I like the fact that New Age offers 2 cab heights, maybe Bee Bop's does too.

New Age is top notch. It's a two man, father/son, shop. They do it all with no other shop help. Very nice guys to deal with as well.

Do you ever think you'll sell the car? If so, you might be wise to step up to a steel repro body. The extra money it costs now will more than come back during resale.

Buy the new repop steel 32 five window. If you do not, you will wish you had. This year. Next year. Year after that.

There was a 32 5 window at pate swap meet last year for $3000. U can still find steel for gl*** price if u do some searching. Gl*** would be my backup plan. Just my 2 cents
