    Hey all!

Well, I have been into cars since I was born. My Popop was a mechanic, as well as all my uncles and father. I was the last shot for a boy.......so my father decided I would be raised like a boy instead. I love him for that! I still have lots to learn and hope to be able to learn from you all! I just got a 61 falcon 2dr wagon. She is what is keeping me sane as winter comes. I also work at the best custom motorcycle shop in Brooklyn and find myself learning more and more about welding. I think next to cars its my next favorite thing! I dont know what else to say other than I look forward to reading the posts!

    Thanks,
    Ali

...Very true! Most people are saying they had the four door and never saw many 2drs. She is already lowered about an inch 1/2 in the front and I am working on all new suspention in the front. Still has the 170 inline for now. It is fun, hopefully she will not be like grandma's when she is done!

Looking great! Are you going to lower the rear? Lowering blocks aren't that expensive, and would make the car look cool. Have you gone to The Helles Belles website. There are quite a few girls with Falcons there. Pam has a nice Futura convertible. You are welcome to post on the main board.:DSparky

Thank You! I am still thinking about lowering the back. I got special U-bolts to do it, but I am starting to like the look with just the front lowered. Plus right now with some weight in the back she drops down anyway! haha. Thanks for the go ahead on the main board!:D :D

Welcome, we had a 62 Falcon 4dr a while back and sold it. We didn't appreciate it when we had it. We are now huge fans of 170 Falcons. It was slow but cool and all at***ude especially when you could almost reach out the window and touch the ground. We used it to chase parts. We lowered the back 3 inches and it s****ed everything. There are still pictures under rides on our website. Joe www.elrodshotrods.com
