My kids bought me a complete upholstery kit from Dearborne Cl***ics for my Fairlane. I went to see my upholstery guy to see what he would charge to install the kit. 350 bucks. I said that seemed to be a lot and he said it was a lot of work. So I got on the internet and found videos of how to do it. Then I did it myself!!!!!!!!!!

Looks good, how many hours did you have doing it?

6 hours sounds good, I've got new interior sitting in boxes but the car is a long way from it.

    Awesome!
6 hours sounds reasonable, how was the frustration level?

    That's stunning! Nice workmanship!
Regardless of how much time it took, I always prefer to do it myself when I can. It's nice when you're done to say, "I did it myself!" My Falcon didn't have anything to start with since someone had swapped out the original buckets, and the rear bench was hacked. Had to find a pair of correct looking buckets, and then a bench for the back I could modify. Made up the side panels for the doors and rear. At least I could use a factory headliner! :)
