Projects Using Bullnose trim with ornaments ?

I've got a 49 chevy p***enger car hood that needs refinished. I don't have the center trim pieces for the hood, but would like to put the emblem & ornament on when it's finished. Can you use bullnose trim (that I've seen on a couple of websites) and cut it where needed ?

Is it possible to buy new hood trim pieces ? I haven't had any luck finding them using google.

Just checked their site and didn't see anything but you might want to give the a call because they have a lot of used parts and my be able to help you.

 

I was thinking about buying the bullnose there, so I'll call them in the next week or so if I don't locate the hood strips.

Good news. A buddy of mine found the two pieces and is shipping them to me. They'll either have to be chromed or painted he tells me.
