newbie with 51 chevy pickup

Hello from Iowa! I have my first truck I bought when I was a teenager, a 51 chevy pickup! Had it for 26yrs.... been working on it with 10yr old son. Working on cab now replacing cab corners, floor,firewall, and cowl parts now. Undecided on engine and trans but leaning towards straight 6. Alot of knowledge on here that would help with our project.
