Hi Byron Here. I'm a new member from Australia.
I'm a young whippersnapper at the Age of 32.
    I just bought myself a 1930 Model A 5 window coupe.
I have a few other nice Australian cars.

I have been checking out the forum for a while and thought it was time to Join.

I am teaching myself how to Spin spanners, Weld, Fabricate, Panel beat, and Paint.

I spend Hours in my shed working on little projects, I just finished painting a fuel tank from one of my cars. What started out as a simple drop the tank and put a new sender unit in has turned into drop the Tank, clean, sand, paint, new hoses, new clamps put the tank back, and then " Oh I don't like the look of that exhaust pipe I'll pull that off too".

So I'm guessing pulling apart an 84 year old Model A is going to be a hell of a hoot.

I'm learning my skills from reading books and trawling the Interwebs.

Look forward to talking crap and learning a thing or two for the Old Hands here at the H.A.M.B.

    Cheers Byron

Doc I'm located in Darwin NT.

lomofo1949 I'm pretty lucky the Model A seems to be relatively rust free but thank you for the link for panels.

You get some funny looks when you roll up in a stock Model A and your not a 70 years old man wearing a tweed jacket smoking a pipe.

    Hi Byron1930,
sweet looking A. Have you got that gem in your possession yet. Reason i ask is i could have sworn i saw that exact vehicle in a quarantine yard in Rocklea Qld last week.
