Good to see you too primer. Had to sell the frame for the chopper. But the guy I used to build them with is making hella money off building one offs.

Mopar is the only way to go for me man. Looking at a 360 right now but if I can find a 340 id rather use that. Auto ******.

  7. If I recall there was a 360 in the cl***ifieds the other day real reasonable. I don't recall the price exactly and it will probably blow your budget but it was there.
I think that Raven61 has a SB 904 pretty cheap. but if you're building a Salter you're gonna want the heavier ******. heavier cars fare better on the salt.

Oh BTW do do know that Plymouth trucks are as rare as hens teeth right/ not that I care, I'd take an axe to an edsel Alley ostrich if I had one but they are pretty rare.

Hey man, I've got some 12.5:1 .030" 360 pistons if you're interested. Stock rods and deck height.

Also got a pair of cheapie 1 3/4" A-body headers, maybe they could work for you? I'd sell this stuff cheap just to get rid of it, maybe it could help you out.

I know where there is a 340. Its been out in the weather and it probally stuck. But if you want I can see if the guy wants to sell it if your interested. Co**** the shipping from here to you would kill your budget also.

Do you have any more pics that maybe show the whole cab? What are you using for a frame, box, etc? How much is it chopped? Looks great. Love to see/hear more. Its not everyday you get to see 30's Mopar trucks. Thanks

Thanks guys. Its a 6 inch chop. though I would have went 7 or 8 if my friends werent so damn tall. I am going to runn it on the orginal frame till i finish the custom frame fabbed up by none other than me. When on the new frame she will sit 4 inches off the ground at the bottom of the cab. Channeled four inches over the frame which will be 2x4 boxed. Coil over/4 link out back done by again me. Suicide front with a 5 inch drop axle. 360 motor 727 ******.
    Did i leave anything out?

5-inch dropped axle? And what you gonna use for front brakes? 'Seriously interested in this since I'm in the planning stages for a '37 Plymouth pickup.

What's the grand total so far?

  19. If you're going for top speed instead of drag racing, you may want to consider an overdrive. You get my P.M.?

Well my grand total so far is only 900 bones. I have done alot of wheeling and dealing to do this though. Its taken alot longer than expected too. I havent started running it around yet either. As I just had twins almost two months ago and they occupy alot of time. And going through a divorce and losing my normal job. I've had a fun few months!!
