Hi...I am Dave. You can call me Dave. I am currently working on a 1927 Ford Coupe. My philosophy is that most people are like slinkies. They're not really good for anything but they sure bring a smile to your face when they're pushed down the stairs. Some people are smart and some are just plain dumb and this makes me happy to be in the middle. My kids are grown with their own kids so I get to give them lots of candy to get them revved up and then send them home with their parents. I like cars. My first tear down and rebuild was a 1963 VW that I traded for with my 1970 Subaru, the little clown car, which I traded for a guitar that I bought and an amp that I begged my parental units for. My dad was pissed! I came driving home on that little 2 Cycle Subaru and as I pulled into the drive way, there was my dad. He was lauging at first, until I told him that I had traded that guitar amp that I begged them for. Yup....I had a ton of fun working on that VW with my dad who used to build motors for/with Dempsy Wilson. I just retired from the U.S. Army after 38 years as an M.P. I know that I'm going to miss it but the body just can't hump any longer. "That is all"
