    hey guys
I have a 1953 f100 that i put power steering on and i used a gear box from a 82 or 83 4x4 truck, , now that i have everything complete after driveing a while i get a hiss sound when turnng the wheel, i have bleed the aire severa times, , and you cant hear the sound from out side only from inside, like its coming through the steering wheel shaft, i have check the fluid it is warm not hot, i am thinking i could have a seal or o ring bad in the box letting it by p*** when hot, , it only makes the sound when hot and when turning, now i dont have a rubber coupler installed, i got the kit from mid fiftys that uses a u-joint

    please give me your input

    Thank

Sorry lilrobo....the truth is ....you will have the hiss until you put in a rag joint or rubber dampened u joint.
