Not much. I was seriously considering one about two years ago at 1000.00, and just didn't have the room to pull the trigger. The first step would have been a 2 door conversion...

They were an excellent car with good engine, trans, suspension etc. If you had one in top shape it would make a good daily today (except maybe for being a gas hog).

They suffer by not having the (fashionable) tail fins of the 60 61 although, they are otherwise nearly identical.

Ahhh, but the lines of the '62 are soooooooo much cleaner because THEY DON'T have the fins! Also, the gas hog stuff can easily be solved with an Ultrabell and a 518 trans, or even better a Tremec!

They do part out well if you're getting it cheap enough. The whole cars aren't real valuable, but a lot of the parts sell really well. The fishbowl gauge cluster, the tail lights, the grille, and the headlights with headlight surrounding sheetmetal (***uming it's not rotten) would bring a pretty good pile of money all by itself. If the dash pad is nice and you can get it off without wrecking it, that'd go for a big pile, too.

If your going to p***, PM me the info please. I know someone that has been looking for a 4 door car in drivable (or very near) condition from that era. Price, location, and a link would be cool. Gene

Saw that one for sale too. He's also looking for fenders for it. That trunk looks gigantic in the photos.
