Technical 1949 Chevrolet gauges

    In my 49' Chevy coupe. Changing over to 12v v8 etc... trying to keep it as stock looking as possible. I ended up gutting the original gauge housing and cutting up some equus mechanical gauges in order to fit this application. Wiring the car is next on the list. Any ideas on a good looking period correct tachometer?

    Great idea. I wish I would've done this when I redid my gauge last year. Now I just have a painted up ornament since non of the original gauges work

    Thanks, kind of out of necessity. I just didn't like any of the digital stuff out there.
