In my 49' Chevy coupe. Changing over to 12v v8 etc... trying to keep it as stock looking as possible. I ended up gutting the original gauge housing and cutting up some equus mechanical gauges in order to fit this application. Wiring the car is next on the list. Great idea. I wish I would've done this when I redid my gauge last year. Now I just have a painted up ornament since non of the original gauges work
