falcon gasser front end(old magazine clips)

    when i picked up my straight axle from "voodoo kustoms" last night roger let me borrow this old mag with an article on doin a straight axle on a ford falcon..i thought it would be cool to share here so i scanned it.enjoy:)

    thats pretty cool..whats that chrome thingy on the front though?can you post a pic of youre front cross member?

    Its an air foil.I can get some pictures this weekend when I get to my shop.

    Yeah that's what i thought when saw it as well.I mounted mine coming from the bottom and heated and bent my pitman arm down to try to keep it level and clear my oil pan.

    right on thanks dude...yeah youre set up looks just like the pics i posted...do you have all that crazy "bump steer" those guys are talking about?

    It drives and steers well,my draglink isnt at a hard angle like the one in the article. I made the cross member over a year ago.I wish i would have hat that article to go by. lol

    3/16 plate for the sides and 1/4 for the top.
