Hey guys, each time my 9yr old fella has computer time he watches Freiburger and Finnegan Roadkill episodes.
From what I've seen of it ,it looks pretty good..and appears not to have drama! :) He's learning quite a bit too.
I took him with me in the car a few days ago and he said "test out the sway bars Dad" .
I replied "ok. so how do I do that then?" "by turning the corner and leaning " he said. He's very keen to learn...and petrol's in his veins poor kid..h
His natural father(RIP) and myself was/are both petrolheads.

Can anyone recommend good episodes for him to watch with our kinda vehicles?

    thanks in advance ,
    Paul

I can't think of any. They don't really do "traditional" on roadkill.

But if you watch the bonneville episode, you'll see another kid who is not as lucky as yours (at the very end). I was there when they were filming....the kid was hilarious!

  4. Traditional cars or not. It's a great show. They also had fun with the Sailor Jerry model A sedan.

They build a gasser in one episode, i thought that was a pretty tasteful. Most of their episodes have great info that would be good for him to pick up on.

I'm a big fan of those guys, brings out my inner-12y.o. every time I watch.

The 55' will likely get featured again once they have some more film on it. They already dedicated an episode to picking up the body, installing it on a new chassis and dropping in a mule Hemi. Last I saw they had all of the bodywork done (quite a bit) and the intended Hemi nearly finished. I imagine it will make another appearance later this year.
