with...but you need to put in a wider rearend, and radius the wheelwells, sawing thru the stainless as you do it.

    otherwise it's not traditional.

    :)

I like it with. The green looks good but it needs the trim to break it up.

Ditto. I like it with because it adds to the car. without it, that nice round side looks flat, creating the illusion that the body is way thick.

Without. And add some Peach Sherbert and Seafoam Green graphics! :D Actually...radiusing the wheelwells might not be bad. Either way, I like the altered wheelbase g***er look.

#1. Raise it up and round the wheel well a little.

#2. Or just raise it so it is eqaully distanced from the top of the front well downward and the top of the rear well upward.

#3. Or take the rear part and put it on the door and leave the rear off so it just the front fender and the door.

I don't like the stainless....& I'm having a hard time saying why. It just seems out of proportion;too low on the body. But the place I'd like the looks of it won't work because of the body lines in front of the taillights.

I love that car... saw it in person at Paso. I drove a 47 Stud pickup there and was riding around a nasty old suzuki.

It looks way better with the trim, but as far a g***ers go... the trim adds weight.

  19. OKAY, from all the input, i guess it's trim on one side, and NONE on the other. Which side gets which look?

Without. Radius the wheel wells and get some Radir slicks.

OK. It's hard to tell. Turn them around so the white walls are showing.;) BTW that 'Vette rules.

  28. To me, the rearend width is reminiscent of when some full size bodies looked as if they were dropped onto a front engine dragster. Rear wheels ****ed in a little, and the front wheels a little too far out, and sometimes you'd see the driver in the TRUNK area because sometimes it "WAS" a front engine dragster underneath. This is why NO radius wheelwells in back. This is "the look" i was after.

  29. The whites will be shown when i get tired of this look. May Paso, if the Vette don't go.
