<!-- / icon and ***le --> <!-- message --> i found a nice autolite 4300A Square Bore at the s**** metal yard today but it has NO NUMBERS anywhere, only a "V" with an "o" in it's center inside of a circular casting stamp on the top of the carb, p***engers-side of the fuel inlet. i'm trying to find out the CFM and applications of this carb. ALSO: i found an autolite 2100 2bbl carb with a 1.14 marking which means that it's a 300cfm. would this be too much carb for a chevy 235 six that's .30 overbore with a solid cam?
There should be some numbers on the left corner of the mounting flange, right by the hole for the stud; example, 3A AB. That two barrel should work ok on a smaller engine, but jets are kind of scarce.
anyone know of a more efficient better gas\ milage carb to upgrade from my OEM ford autolite 2100 2bbl carb with a 1.14.? I have a 1964-1/2 Ford MustangK-code (Hi pro)coupe with a 260 (4.3 litre) V8 iron block and manifold all original. Confirmed right on the vin and ***le and original dealer manifestfrom Windsor. Thanks
yeah I know but... I'd like to get as good gas milage as our Kia and Saturn, both get close to 40 mpg no exaggeration. Thanks
