Anyone know where the stock steering box hole should be located on a 32' Ford frame? Building a 29' Tudor sedan on 32' rails and the hole is not cut out. Can anyone give me measurements say from the top holes located just in front of the firewall on the drivers side of the frame? Trying to make it as correct as possible and mount the F1 box I'm using in the stock location. Thanks for any help!

Sure, no problem, according to the FOMOCO frame prints I sell on the HAMB cl***ifieds misc. section, here's your info, just add up all the measrements, you will have an exact center to center on the requested hole.---Enjoy!---Don

From front hole in the frame(where spreader bar mounts).
    Add them up.

Imagine the engine has zoomies. The steering box is right in the way or the left rear one.

I looked at your post again and saw it was for a 29 that location doesn't have to be written in stone.... Maybe get your headers on first and see where you like the wheel... If you push it forward a slightly it will feel less bus like and probably clear some "W" headers..

Also depends on your column you're using. Best is to empty the steering box and mock up column, 'wheel and seat, plus engine and headers then find out where it sits best for you. With the steering box empty you can tuck it into the rail where you want it.

the longer the drag link, the less bump steer will affect it.
