Do Biscaynes count? I mean, after all, they are only 2 tail lights short of being a Impala ;)

Nice Impala. Now get it off that wet dirt before ya rot the bottom off it. :)

  11. Jeffy - Bet the screamer 327 makes the big car move out when it's wound up!
Converted to big blocks long ago, but as a teen, my 57 had a similar combo with 4.56 gears. It would leap!
Your Impala is beautiful, you're glad to have kept it I am sure.

IMG_0812.JPG My 64 Biscayne a true barn find that was stored for over 46 years. Its in absolute showroom condition. Original paint and interior. Has since been lowered and four wheel disc brakes added.

Fedman, the car was bought by a northern Indiana farmer for his wife in November 1963. She drove it for two years and decided she didn't like it. It was then stored in a barn for over 46 years. After the owners passed away the car was then sold in an estate sale. All the original paperwork came with the car.

Can't believe rats and mice didn't eat the interior out of it. Anyone who have seen the car can't believe it hasn't been restored. Its that nice. It's a true time capsule. Just goes to show you they are still out there.

Its amazing how lowering and adding decent wheels, tires and dog dish caps make an otherwise stock car look good.

I have fond memories of one just like yours from the late 60's.
When I was in high school, I had a 61 with a 348/3speed and an older guy up the street had a ?Honduras Maroon 63, it had a 409 and a 4 speed and I really thought it was a neat car.
