Projects 64 Ford Galaxy 500 Brake Question!!

    In college we are working on a 1964 Ford Galaxy. We pulled the original master cylinder off and replaced it with a dual system master cylinder. We are curious if we need to add pressure residual valves, or if we should run a proportioning valve in the lines. The car is drum all the way around with bigger wheel cylinders in the front than in the rear.

    You should have residual pressure valves. Proportioning valve, no.

    If the replacement M/Cyl is for drum/drum it should have the RVs inside and not need any add on valves. If the new M/cyl is for disc/drum then the front disc brake system will need the after market RV.
