  6. Wow, what a start. It's hard waiting for Friday to come just so I can look at the art.
    Thanks!

Jeff those comic covers are phenominal! Love the expressions :)

Frogz, gary, Bob, and Spoggie, spot on as always.

A piece i recently for a friend of a friend, who's wife commisioned me to do a finished version of his ongoing model-a project for his b-day. He was totally surprised, and needless to say, she's a keeper :)

I picked up one of KCSleds (Cody) unpainted resin cast shrunken Heads at last years HAMB Drags. Finally got around to putting some color on it. It now rests on the column shift of the wagon!

    Hi guys

Here's my hat landing in the ring.....

Model A is brand new, first one out of the mould now with paint thrown at it.
The '34 coupe has yet to be cast. This is my sculptured master.
Both are yet to be added with updates to my site, www.speed-still.com
As has the news that they will ONLY be available as limited editions.
No more mass produced Speed Freaks!!!!
I'm aware the great unwashed will get the hump with this info but serious problems have occured with the new mass produced editions, So the plug has been pulled! Collectors and the fans who love my stuff will understand and in time will benefit from the changes. As all editions will only be sold via my site. The standards will be oh-so-high, new larger bases, and much rarer one-off editions
    Anyway, enough news...enjoy the images!

    'What Lies Beneath'

This is what most guys see when they look at an old junker.
A bit of tromp l'oeil,or 'fool the eye' This is all graphite and charcoal pencil.

Love this, great! A small thought, maybe another one like this but the new underneath one in color, like in the movie "Wizard of Oz" in that the regular world went from black and white to color when Dorothy entered Oz...

Well it's been awhile since I posted here and I hope this isn't too far off topic.

The city of Enid has what is called " First Friday" which is promoting the downtown area.

Once a year "Main Street Enid" sponsors a Free Art Friday in which local artist submit art pieces which are hidden around downtown and whoever finds them can keep them ( one per family).

This year we had to use a 45 rpm record in our work.

These are mine. Note the flying saucer is mounted on an old CD case with The Randells Martian Hop label.

Haven't had anything new to post in a very long time. I did this one from a picture someone posted on a general thread about roadtrip pics. I couldn't find it again to credit the owner (sorry!), but I added a big sunrise to make it a little more "mine".

Jeff, really like the Hot Rod Comics cover art. I bought every one that came out when I was growing up.
