Well here some pics of what I've been working on. My 50 Dodge truck this thing started out as a 3/4 ton now It sits about 12 inches lower thanks to a late model mopar sub frame and rear. So far it's going along pretty good I had to set some of the sheet metal on the truck to get a idea of how it's going to look. The plan is to keep it 100% mopar and I'm doing a good job at that. Heres the pics I'm no pro with the camera there pretty bad but you get the idea.

Good looking little project. What sub did you use and how did it fit? Don't see alot of old dodges, but neat looking trucks. Nice to see someone doing up a 3/4 ton too, lots around, just need someone to make one look good and give everyone else some ideas. Take some pictures of the front end if you get a chance, would like to see how you did it.

I'm glad too see a few of you like my ugly little truck. The sub frame idea came from Tex Smiths how to build a hot rod mopar. In the book they tell you that any m body mopar will work for this swap. I got my 89 5th ave from ebay for $125 and it was the best thing I could have done. Motor, trans, sub frame ,rear plus all the other stuff we striped will make it to the truck.
Sorry booze455 no pics of the frame some crackhead did the welding but when he cleans it up I'll shot some for you.
moparsled, there is only three groves on the lower pulley it look like five in the pic.
53 chevy, johnnylong is right it's not that I hate chevy stuff it's just that there is a bunch of 1948 chevy/s-10s in the So What clan.
Also I have to thank lulabelle and plmczy these to guys have been alot of help so far.

burger, I don't think it's going to make posies/terrys open house. I think it's going to be done for the Showdown I hope.
