Greetings from Missouri! I bought a 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe a couple years ago and am getting ready to make it road worthy again. It's pretty much a complete restoration. Have plans to lower and chop it. Right now it has the original 6cyl under the hood and we have worked a couple days on trying to get it running. Not sure if I want to keep the original motor in it or put my 454 in it... Glad to be a**** folks that know cars!!!
Everyone, meet Betty! She's bare bones on the inside! Needs new floor boards installed due to rust and a little patching here and there.

Welcome from Kansas City. Personally if you are just wanting a cruiser I'd go with a SBC, those BBC's are freak'n heavy (we have one in the '31), BBC's a cool but under the hood and out of sight I'd go smaller and more practical. Then again, it depends on what you want to do with it.
