A few of you follow some of my posts and we have been working on a couple survivor hot roads again for Gsta's indoor rod and custom show thats been going on for 58 years.

heres the links to the builds,

my 34 ford 5 window coupe

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=870553

and my buddy Chads survivor 34 truck me Chad and my dad (RICH B) have been working on

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=856932

weve been busting *** hard on the cars, especially this last week, 1 week ago neither cars had motors in them, my coupe was able to be drivin into the show, we pushed the truck in but its getting close to being roadworthy

so if your bored in MN, head down to the show, theres some other nice stuff there like FalconMans 32 coupe hes also been busting *** on to get to the show and a few other hambers cars too.

Had a really fun weekend, and had a fun week leading up to it, everyone acts like a deadline and thrash for a show is so bad, i love doing it, i get such a great sense of accomplishment when im done.

I also won best group/club display wich came with a prize money of $200! sweet!
and i took my 34 coupe from nothing to something in one month, still have some stuff to do but itll be roadworthy very shortly. i got to at least drive it in and out of the show.

You're a hot rod building maniac, my friend. The car and the truck looked great.

  14. I happened to be in Mpls. last week and went with a friend of mine, great show and ***us's display was ***s, I had no idea it was his until I found this thread.

Does anyone have pics of the little gold roadster made from a '56 Chevy frame with '58 quarters, '59 trunk lid along with the '59 dash cluster centered in the dash? We talked at length with the builder and were so knocked out by his car I never thought to take a pic, I'm bummin'.

Here's a little gow job that looked a lot like my f-i-l's first car. :D

Not to hijack this thread (great job on Both survivors, by the way), but I'd love to see a lot more of Dennis Heapy's custom roadster.
