Hey I'm putting together a 1963 Marauder and need to restore or replace a steering wheel. I was curious as to what years interchange on these cars? Also, will a comet wheel interchange with the big body Merc? Thanks.
Most any Ford or Mercury car wheel from the late 50's through the 60's should work. They all used a common spline on the column.
I fit a 53 Ford heavy truck wheel to a 69 Mustang column, though I'm not sure how long the spline stayed the same for sure.
hey its not nice to say you have a 63 Marauder and not post any pictures.. oh and im jealous i want a 63 Marauder some day too. There is a guy on here who restores steering wheels, and ive also seen a guy on ebay who restores them on ebay.
