Do NOT miss the La Posada Hotel in Winslow, AZ. Restored 1930's Harvey Hotel, with a ton of history. H.

  8. Two very dear friends of mine did Route 66 starting in Auburn Maine(their home town now)and spent six weeks and nearly 10,000 miles on the road in their 1933 Ford coupe.Susan did a daily blog (with pictures) and it is posted at the address below. It is a bit long but a very good read and quite humorous most of the time. They liked it so much they are thinking of doing it again this year.As an aside the coupe p***ed the 50,000 mile mark on their journey.
