In the days before OSHA. How long do you think a painter would last when the only protection he had was a rag under his nose to breath through.

No biggie Ron, I had to look twice. I love the car, it's been in every magazine I pick up lately. The trick pic was done very well.

Would someone tell me how I'm reading this post when I only am on page 4434. I have read posts previously that referred to postings that were on pages further ahead of where I was and often wondered.
    Thanks
    Jay

Here in the Netherlands CD on a plate stands for Corps Diplomatique.

For a moment I thought it was the car in which our late Prins Bernhard had a big accident. But his plate would have started with AA (this combination is for the Royal family)

And the shape of the doors and doorwindows is not the same...

I thought of a diplomatic plate, but they are normally stand alone, with the car having a separate normal number plate. A friend of mine has an an old ex emb***y car with it's CD plate still fitted.

That one above is really bent. Ouch! I googled it, there are a few other pics out there.

I wonder if the squared off windows indicate a convertible sedan rather than a cabriolet?? More googling called for!

    Mart.

Car in the first photo is a '38 deluxe. Crashed car is a '37.
