41 chevy ?????? 235 and body parts questions

  1. first- bussiness cpe- doors, what years fit? found one ,but missing pass door + front clip, I heard 41 -8 cpe doors bolt on, but have to weld up the fender extension bolt holes
    second - 57 235 engine a bolt in? has a stock 216/stick , and I have a 57 235 w 40 K .
    A guy wants to trade this car in for some parts I have.

    Like you said, lotsa holes to weld up.

    Also, I think the beltline trim is different.

    Couldn't tell you about the engine swap though.

    Seems like it should work. </font>
     
  3. Thanks i thought so , I remember something about the later 235's not having a mount boss drilled (side?),but maybe that is more of the 1949-54 years

    1941 chevy doors are different to 46-48 doors by the lower hinge .the leading edge of the skin is much simpler shape on the 41's . The 46-8's are shaped to clear the A-pillar when in the open position.
    Plus the previously mentioned door pods etc
