-Hey, Tingler, do you use friskit on your shirts? Your lines are crazy clean.
    -Nice pix, 59.
    -Empire-nice as always!

So, I was GIVEN a Scanjet 5470 w/o cords or software. I'm gonna try to get it running tomorrow so I can put up some new stuff:D

Far from perfection, but these are the first flames I have ever layed out. I took an old craftsman toolbox that belonged to my grandfather, than my dad, and dow mine, and covered it in blue masking tape, and hand drew out the flames, then cut it with a razor blade. I was concerned the paint would bleed a bit under the tape, but since I put the white base coat on in many very light coats, the tape came off, with a very sharp line. Not the best, but for a few rattlecans, it turned out better than I expected. Next I gotta get a pinstriping brush and try my hand at outlining them.

I got a couple of Desk Top Art Work little cars done this week.

First up is a 55 Chevy 4 door wagon, which is # 59. It has a small block motor under the removable hood. It was ordered for as a Christmas present. A few weeks ago I did a 56 Chevy race car and it wasn't too bad, I can tell you this one was a struggle. Although the "simple" body lines of the tri-five Chevy's might have been easy for GM, it was a ***** to get even close to right in the size and with the equipment I have. I don't predict many (other then the two additional ones already ordered) coming from me.

The next one up is a dirt track modified sedan. This one, # 60, was also ordered as a Christmas present.

A few weeks ago I built a Modified coupe Art Work for a guy in WI. Like all of my recent Art Work cars, that one was sent out in bare steel. When the guy got it home he (or some one he knows) painted it to look like his actual restored modified race car. Yesterday he sent me pictures of the Desk Top Art Work in its painted condition. Who ever did the detail painting on this one is an artist also. The last two pictures are of the Desk Top Art Work Butch recieved in its bare steel form.

This was commision peice that the guy backed out of so I made his truck look good instead of what it really was (cough.... cough... street rod). Hope hes reading this flake. I could of been finishing paying customers stuff. Any way I'm aware of my ****py lettering. Guess I shouldnt freehand it. Still needs a little work.

I'm new to the HAMB board, but have been lurking for a while. Just thought I would share some renderings of a 3D computer model I have been working on. I have a '59 El Camino project, and wanted to test some paint scheme and wheel/tire ideas... see how it looks before I commit! I made the model in 3D Studio MAX.

That is a very cool picture. Am I wrong or is this the front end of Josh Shaw's 32 Tudor and the front end of Brock's (Now mike Bloomers)31 coupe. It is very cool.
