Got a good deal on a single quad scoop except that I need the mounting hardware for it. Anyone have one or where on net to find one?

Need the silver mounting bracket as in picture.

at the single quad scoop store of course. i think the folks here will need more info of what you have to help, or at the very least, a picture of what you've got.

If that is all you need, find a junk air cleaner base and cut one out. Paint it silver. Done. Lots of old 14' air cleaner bases around at swap meets cheap.

I bought the mounting plates off e-bay for my dual quad setup, it was from some race type company.

This has to be a record. 10 posts in and no body bashing the guy for no intro. Just giving help without too much sarchasm. Wow.

So what? You don't think you'll ever use a new air filter? A spare air filter is NOT a bad thing. My big issue with the Jegs item is how spendy it is for so little. I'd fab a sheet metal base, and then get a carb spacer to raise it to the same as a stamped base.

There's what, like a half hour there to make it, why bother looking for one? Get something along the lines of a good K&N filter, put it together and call it a deal...
