Yo Baby, I think you've got a terrific idea...I probably would've done the same thing if I hadn't found this firstmodel 96 Saab..but technically it's an altered, I stretched the wheelbase about 20 inches.
thats not a volvo mike volvos aint really considered specially high around here not the same as vintage american cars atleast...
Yes, that looks like the French Ford Comete. The pic to the right of it is a English Ford. Dont know that the car in the 1st pic is... Show some more pics of your Saab, Igorw. I like it.
Here's the frame for the Saab, a modified Model A, it's upside down while I was welding brackets on for the front radius rods. Hope to have it on all fours sometime this winter.
It's wonderful to know I'm not the only sick puppy on the block.LOLI need to see more of this when it's standin' on all fours. T.OUT
Now that's twisted .Are those the same to cars in different trim? They appear to have the same blisters around the right front hood area. T.OUT
There was one that raced in the Tampa area twenty years ago. It was painted black and white like a cop car.neat as hell. Robert
That red PV544 was named "The Red Tomato", its a cl***ic in the Swedish drag racing history. It was built around 1968-69 and the original builder was Lars Nigell (he did grew tomatos for living!). In the early 80´s Hot Tomato was owned/driven by Ralf Gunnarsson from Tyringe in southern Sweden. Ralf did happen to be my machine shop teacher by the time and we spoke a lot about that car. The car is no longer existing as Ralf crashed and totaled it... A few pics of it from the 70´s can be seen at http://race68.com/nigellpv.htm
Dont give this guy too much information,,,,, just get the damn car built and lets go race.............................................................starbird g***er display in feb, be there okc
Theres a guy just north of spokane Washington, Bob Donley is his name, with a '54 volvo that was a g***er in the early 60's. As the story goes it was running a 260 ford small block with a tunnel ram and zoomie headers, with a narrowed '56 olds rear axle. I personally have the axle out of this car in my storage. I was working at the fabrication shop that put the new roll bar, rear frame rails, wheel tubs and laderbars under it back in 2000. I don't know what happened to the car after I quit but it should be one hell of a racer if its ever finished.
Front or rear and what in the hell are you (doin) gonna do with it? It sure doesn't sound like he needs it. T.OUT
