Found this last Sunday at a local yard sale. Gave 20 bucks for it.
Owner deceased- wife selling stuff. All of this was in a box marked Willys.
Wife says he had many different years of Willys- all gone now.

Here's the dash. Has 2 raised beads on each end. Bead is dented on 1 side. Someone obviously cut the center out & welded in flat metal.

End view. Those beads are not parallel with each other. They slightly dip towards the center.

Rear view of dash. Obvious someone filled the center.

Close up of rear where a dent in rear is & where there used to be trim holes? Didn't bother welding them- just used filler.

Glove box door complete w/ hinges. They welded up the handle holes though.

Back side of glove box door.
Looks like someone started to weld this into a dash & changed their mind. Weld spots & you can see where they cut it back out at 2 corners. Looks like they tacked it in there & changed their mind.

Another piece of the puzzle. That flat panel w/ the gauge holes was added & welded in. Glove box door doesn't fit it though.

Back side. Those 2 tabs are too far apart to be the glove box hinge mounts.

Now here's another piece I have no clue what it is. This has a reveal that the others don't have. Someone drilled it for gauges. It's not cut up.

Back side of above piece. Has a tab for something and 2 studs & nuts to mount it.

So- that's it for the dash pieces.
    What the hell is it.
40? 41? A bunch of rag-tag parts that have no use?
    Anyone have pics of a 40 & a 41 Dash?

I got some other stuff as well but no pics.
A rear center repro panel below trunk opening. Like new.
    1 old headlight bucket
Pair of headlight bezels that have seen better days
    1 gl*** headlight lense
2 interior door hardware (inside door)
    Rear trunk prop
Bunch of other stuff hemi related.

First dash pics look like a modified 37, 38 willys.

This stuff came in a box when I bought my 41.
There's a hemi aluminum adaptor plate but I have no idea what trans will bolt up to it- maybe there's a number on it somewhere. There's a home made valley cover, a HH water crossover, motor mounts, valves & springs, elect water pump, 2 Holley elect fuel pumps, alternator, 2000 cfm elect fan, a spare blower belt (slightly too long for my set-up). That's off the top of my head.
Several boxes of stuff in storage. I'll need to pull it to see what I have.

Here's a pic of a 40 coupe for sale. Looks like the same dash I have- unless he welded in an earlier dash. He's obviously modified it to include a console. :(

    yeah that dash in the 40 coupe is a 37-8 dash in a 40, or a 40 front end on a 37-8
