If it were me, I'd wait and come down to Springfield in August for the Grandaddy of swap meets at the Fairgrounds.
We have the time , Tinker wants to do another road trip before he moves to Indy I do springfield to , have been for years. I wouldn't call it a grand daddy though LOL get out of Mo sometimes, our swaps pale in comparison .
just got an email from the promoter chris: We had to move to unforeseen cir***stances, as one of the owners of the property we had last year does not want to have anything there anymore, this is why you should always have a contract. The new place is just down the interstate, take I-44 to exit number 1 and head North one and a half miles and the swap meet will be on the right hand side of the road, there will be plenty of signs. The 14th Annual Meet 2014 HAS BEEN CANCELED Due to the city of Joplin lack of a manager, they have made it hard for us to have a swap meet this year! They want each and every vendor to go to the city offices to buy a license to be able to sell! They didn't give us enough time to get with the city council to have that changed, we should have it taken care of by next year! For those you have already paid we will either refund your payment, or hold on to it until next year, it is up to you. Contact us to let us know. We will be sending out mailers to all we have on our mailing list.
