Interestingly enough the 1930 Studebaker Commander looks very similar also. HRP

From an owner of a '32 President, it is definitely a '32!! Two quick ways to know: 32's did not have a visor over windshield and 32's did not have 4 piece front fenders (ie the boardwalk on the '31's) The grille on a 31 is flat at the bottom and the 33 is a slanted back style kinda similar to a '34 Ford....do you have this car and what are your plans - keep it or sell it? To tell if it's a dictator or commander - measure the wheelbase....dictator is 117" and commander is 125" and the rare Presidents are 135"........Joe

  9. My first thought was '33 or so Stude, too. The headlights give it away.

The oval headlights were the same on all '31, '32, and '33's as were the parking lights......Joe
