Yep. Same thing I used and it does a good job for the price.

Remember, You get what you pay for.... Cheap roofing materials will behave like cheap roofing materials. I used Fat-Mat in my Monterey Wagon. It comes in a nice big roll (important when doing a big car like the wagon), and is at a better price point then Dyna-Mat (which I do believe is over priced.).

LOL, agree with you on "get what you pay for"...

Doesn't Foose endorse Dyna-mat...??? Could that be why it's over-priced...??? He has to get his endor*****t fee...!!! OR is it Les Noyze that's getting the endor*****t fee...???

  8. I'M a cheap mofo. I rip it outta Mercedes' in wrecking yards- cost not much, good quality.

  9. OK, am I not mistaken, but in the high end cars it's a felt mixture? Won't this provide the same sound deading effect? ........and if so, why do we need the reflective layer? won't the felt blend accomplish the thermal insulation?

I get mine in the air duct section of Home Depot. It's not asphalt based like the stuff in the roofing section, and wont stick. $18 a roll for self adhesive 12"x15 ft. Two rolls did my whole Falcon, and one did my tiny Austin sedan.
