    Hi!!

This car came to me pass several owners from California.
And I'm interested of finding the guy who has built this car,
or knows something about it. Especially what's done in the engine.

In the back window says "Straight Ace's".
I assumed it's a car club in california, and didn't find any web pages or nothing..

So if somebody knows something about this car please reply!

    Thanks! Here is some pic's.

Is it bagged? I'm pretty sure that belonged to a shady douchebag named Zach out here in Yucaipa. I'm not sure of the motor, but if it's the same truck,we dropped a SBC with a cam and camel hump heads in it. The trans was shit(A three speed auto with a fucked first gear). I'm pretty sure that's the same truck. He sold it to someone local, who I guess sold it to you.

Actually,I'm positive about that truck now. Those gay ass rims are a dead giveaway. Hopefully someone fixed all the jimmy rigged bullshit and the bondo covered body rot on it. If you sand through the primer, there should be red or black on the body..
Here's a pick of when we pulled the motor a few years ago:

And here's the 327 we put in for Zach:

Yes, it is bagged with ViAir komressors and Firestone bags.
There is red paint under the white primer... and light blue.

Dude! I have this california TITLE
and there is registered owner: L. Zachary from Yucaipa!!

This is what the engine looks like, i thought it's 350.

It probably is a 350. Last I heard,he screwed up the 327,and threw another motor in. I would do a complete once over on everything, including the bag setup. The kids work was half assed,at best. We did the 327 swap for him,but I told him he would screw the motor up if he kept limping around on that busted trans. He also drove like an idiot, typical street racer wannabe teenager.
I would just make sure the bag brackets are properly welded and the bags and lines aren't rubbing. The compressors are good quality, because they came from my friend Ray.
I'm also, mglad you know your way around metal work and fabrication, because you have one hell of a frosted cake there. That thing is slammed with bondo. Check the cowl vent area, the roof edges, the rear fenders, and the front fenders.

    Thanks for the info Hooligan!

I have already REdone almost everything on that truck.
Especially what was done on the rear suspension.
And there was a lot of parts missing also..
It's pretty hard to make this truck low enough, if you want to keep the wood bead on. Need to have wery small tires on the back.

I'am going to paint it matt black and shiny metallic green for the top half.

    Something like this..

Just raise the bed floor and then run the panels. I think that will look a lot better than what he did to it. Send me pics after you're done so I can drop them in his mailbox. And please,do something about those ugly Silverado rims.

Post pics of your progress Janne. I want to see your progress, especially considering how well I know that truck(Zach lived a couple of blocks away from me when he had that truck). I want to see what it looks like once it's done right!
