Customs How about some pics of car pickups

Not the elcamino or rancheros but the custom builds like below

 

Here is a Cadillac car made into a pickup.

 

Not so pretty, but a early Model T made into a non factory pickup I guess...

 

I seem to recall there being a thread on this topic? Can't think of suitable search terms just at the moment, though.

 

Looks to be a 1926/27 model T coupe made into a pickup.

 

I also thought the same and like you a search prompt I could not recall.
Nevertheless for now I've found a few I have kept in my pic's which were of interest to me...

 

Buick tow car in the background. Was used to tow race car to the track

 

51 Lincoln Cosmo. built in the 50's with 400,000 miles on it and still in service.

 

Do a search for "ute". Lots of them down under.

 

Check out "flower cars" particularly early 50's Cadillacs. High end funeral homes would use them to bring flowers to and fro. Always wanted to get my hands on one.

Saw a light blue or purple 50's Chevy pickup with a Caddy front end on instagram, anyone know of this one? Would love to see more pics of that one..
