No one makes one, well one guy quoted $750, + 250-300 if I want baffling...
    I don't think so!

It's a simple oval type thing, looks like a big muffler.
has anyone made their own like this? I can weld and do some metal work, but i'm not great at it.
I have a cheap bead roller, played with it a little.

Its 13" deep, 9" tall 33" wide. ALMOST model A size but has different filler locations.

I also want to put in an in tank fuel pump.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Keith

Looks real similar to a early Ford Model T. HRP

You might talk to a sheet metal man who makes duct work etc. He should be able to make a tank like that out of galvanized steel.

If you can weld and do metal work I don't see what is holding you back. It is not that complicated of a tank.

I don't see what is wrong with the old one.

Try tanks Inc. For a possible alternative.

Speedway has the round black poly tanks in 10 x 30 for about $100

I just might make one. I've just learned to ask before doing something new :) The model T ones are close, but I'd have to hack them up to get the filler in the right place. Seems easier to just make my own. Then I can use stainless and still be cheaper.

Seems like the end caps are the hardest part.

The tank pictured isn't mine, thats the only thing wrong with it :)

thought about the HVAC guy.. still thinking...

The tank sits under the rear of the car, the black poly one would be great if it fit:(

Snyders has one for a 1920-25 oval shaped for $150 , maybe you can make it work.
