Hey I have a 1948 gmc 3/4 ton I rescued from orr mn about 3 weeks ago and I m trying to help the seller out because he is older and has some health problems and might not last much longer but I thaught I might find some people who would want a truck. He has many big trucks but here is mine.
It now has all fenders being worked on by a pro and I m starting a long journey and hopefully will be my daily driver and preparing a 383 stroker for install.

 

Just added a Fulton visor and an original '49 chrome grille.

 

Here is my 49 GMC.

I seem to have a little self control problem with 47/54 trucks: '50 1 ton 9' bed, '53 3 ton dump, '54 1 ton dually Hydra-Matic, '51 3/4 ton Huckster at Marin Head looking down on GG Bridge at completion of my 2007 Boston-San Francisco Cannonball Run

 

Not the greatest pic, but this is the 1955 1st series GMC 1/2t 5 window that was my grandpas, and now my fathers. Looking for a 270 or 302 to go in it if you know of one nearby Las Vegas!

Here's mine. Bought it in 1978 at age 16.

 

I dig that photo! What year was it taken?

 

That was one of several one day car show in L.A. throughout the fifties. If I remember correctly, that's about '54 or '55.

just bought this dealer poster from ebay for only 12 bucks! 56 x 39 inches. it will go good with my equally large 1954 truck poster and my giant 52 dealer poster as well. the other 2 actually have a picture of the trucks in them.
