Found this online, guy says it's been in a barn for a long time, 355 solid lifter motor and a 4 speed, looks like its in Iowa now. Says was a california build, he wants to trade for a 67 chevelle, i have one and am interested. (Think i would need cash my way due to condition) i would have to do some work to rub the late 70s off the interior.

I know its a long shot, but maybe someone has info or looked at it, its kinda far for me.
Showing pics of the 57 and my trade, opinions also welcome on the trade.

I could see the 57 being in the 10k range if its fairly solid, not really sure what chevelles bring, but I ve seen a few decent lookin ones in that same range, Ive also seen fairly nice ones where they were askin double or more.

Thanks for the reply, for what its worth the 67 has a stout 355 aluminum heads bla bla..normal suspension mods, disk conversion posie 10 bolt...its a nice solid ot car, but i would rather have the 57 just don't wanna shaft myself. Thought maybe someone new the 57.again its a long shot i know.
You guys always help straighten me out.

If I was in Iowa and the trade was in Illinois, I'd load my Chevelle up on a trailer and head to Illinois to look at the '57. Yes, it's a fairly long haul, but if the seller and buyer are both interested you should contact him and arrange a halfway point where both could meet to see each other's cars. If it doesn't work out you're both out time and gas, so there's an investment on both party's parts to try and make a deal work.

I would get some money with that deal. The interior is bad ***, not just 70's.
