Damn.....I at least had the pleasure of doing business with Kenny... Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Here he is in '97 being inducted into the Super Stock Magazine HOF. Although I had seen him race many times it was the first time I had met him and he was truly a nice guy. My condolences to his family and friends
Just Damn, another fine driver and all round good guy gone. Still got the memories of The Sour Sisters running the SoCal strips, that was a crew for sure LOL RIP Kenny Full Throttle, Full P***
How sad,,Kenny Was one of the great guys that was around the beginning of Drag Racing---one of my dads favorite friends. R.I.P. Sour Sister,,, Troy Cagle
One of the Road Kings, and one of the best fuel drivers ever. Don't know how many times I watched him drive, no drama, just consistent performance. He drove for the best (Sour Sisters, Gotelli, Mr Norm, etc, etc.). He started with a '57 Chevy at Hollywood High, and never looked back....RIP
Talked to many friends and racers last evening at Kenny's wake, found out that on May 20th at the NHRA Museum at 7PM, they will be having a celebration of Kenny Safford's life which is open to all who can attend. Will also honor Rod Pepmuller(ch***is builder) who also past away just last week. John Wiley
