Deuce Roadster (Randy Nash) would have celebrated his 66 birthday today, sadly he p***ed away shortly less than a month later. Randy was a walking talking encyclopedia of every thing deuce related and one of the go to guys here on the hamb. He was always willing to help and never one to get involved in drama. If you have any memories or photos of Randy please post them. This is the last photo I took of Randy in his coupe. HRP
Meet Randy @ LARS the first time and we hit it off right away, can't remember where I ran into him later, but did a few more times and always had that big smile and how ya doin handshake. Was 1 hell of a guy.
Randy was a cool guy to talk with, I always enjoyed our conversations. This is the only pic I have of Randy from the 2012 Deuce run.
RIP Randy. I first met him on another (now defunct) forum. He was always helpfull to everyone. I saved this pic from that forum.
Though we never met in person Randy and I formed I guess what you would call an "internet friendship". Like real friends we didn't always see eye to eye but in the end our mutual love for the 1932 Ford always saw us on the same page. Every year he would invite me to come down for the All Deuce Run and every year something always prevented us from attending. His p***ing really hit home for me and the HAMB has been denied his knowledge of all things "Deuce". RIP Randy. Frank
Yep, it was time to visit with him at Knoxville next weekend. I'll miss doing that........ Hope that Ouida Sue is doing well.
I spent some time with Oudisue and Randy's brother Kenneth a few weeks ago at the Charlotte auto fair,She is a remarkable person and she doing fine. I almost want to call today like I have so many times in the past but I'm sure Randy's Birthday is already weighing on her,,and Kenneth today..HRP
I never got to meet Randy, but I've kept all the PM's he sent me when I needed advice on a rough '32 Vicky body I wound up buying. He always had good things to say and his advice and knowledge on all things '32 is a great loss to us all. Bob
Gone but never forgotten. His legacy of the knowledge he shared is always here. Singlefingerspeedshop.com. Detroit
Thanks for posting this reminder Danny,I know you guys were close.Hope his wife is doing Well.Happy Birthday Randy R.I.P
Danny, when I was walking around the Blue field at Charlotte I figured I must close to Randy's swap space. Much to my surprise there was Oudisue holding down the fort. Not sure if she remembered me but it sure was good to see her. Just sad that Randy wasn't there with her. Lee
Funny HRP, but I thought of him last night when I read one of your replies to yesterday's stuff. I knew the anniversary of his p***ing was sometime along in here, just couldn't remember the date. I never got to meet him face to face, but we seemed to respond to same threads on the board frequently and shared a P.M. or two over the years. I miss him as well.
Good to see Ouidasue at the AutoFair; it was kinda strange to look over from my space and see her but not Randy. Spent some time chatting with her, I think she's doing well. Told her that Luke missed Randy. RIP Randy. vic
