Attempting to remove and replace the side window glass on a 36 Ford tudor 'slant back' sedan. I was finally able to remove the regulator but unable to find a way to remove the glass. Not enough room to come up as glass will not separate from its pressed on metal holder, even with all the channel removed. And so far the openings on the inside if the body behind the door opening and ahead of the rear wheel tub are to small to maneuver the glass free. Anyone with any ideas ? … other than breaking the glass. I also need to be able to reinstall new glass.

  2. It's a tricky matter. As I remember you get glass loose and lean it to the inside. Lean more as you lift it up. If that's not it the tail comes up and the glass leans inside as you pull it up and back

Yep...like my '35 tudor, glass has to be worked out from the inside once free of the regulator. Be patient and take your time.

I'm assuming you have the interior surround (trim) off already.
