Projects 56 chevy truck bench seat

Hey, I'm in the process of putting my 56 chevy truck back on the road, but I need a bench seat. I was going to go with buckets but decided on a bench seat. anybody have a 56 and have put a bench seat in? what is the best choice of vehicle did you get the bench from? I have my measurements. thanks

3rd seat out of an Astro Van fits great.

 

The original seat is the best one. Front bench from a 88-98 chevy pickup also fits, it's thin. But the offer of an original from Mac is the way to go

I did this with my 57'. I found that at my local PNP they throw all the trash in the middle and front seats but not the 3rd row. So I found a really nice third row seat out of an Astro van. I paid $45? It was odd becaus the middle and front seats were thrashed with garbage.
