Anyone have any suggestions or know how on removing the trim on a 56 Buick around rear window and windshield some of it is in the gasket so it will pop out with the window but I'm not sure about the rest trying not to bend it... Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with the 56 Buick but on my 52 the lower trim is held on with a stud-type clip that goes through the sheetmetal and you have to remove the nut from the inside. As I recall the rear window had holes in the window gasket and the studs went through the gasket. Kind of difficult to find them buried in the gasket, as least mine were. I removed mine about 2 months ago and my feeble memory is not the best. I am planning to reinstall the gl*** in the next couple of weeks so maybe my memory will be refreshed. Hope this is of help to you. Did you try posting your question on a Buick forum?
