Looks like a very good start. What style are you going for with it? Hot rod, bomb, custom?

Hope to see you around S.C. sometime. Do you hang around with any of the Myrtle Beach HAMBers?

I have a very clear path in my head. Im really not sure how to define it. Im not sure what a bomb is but probably in that area.....sort of a mash of hot rod, resto mod, custom cl***ic.... I work for one of the guys on here. Have not really met anyone else yet, but will soon. MODS: fell free to move this thread if it needs to be in another area. Thanks

A bomb is usually a '30 to '50s basically stock car with a lot of add on accessories and a lowered stance. It's a style that's part of the lowrider scene. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I've always loved '40 chevys. My dad had one for a while but he never got to do anything with it. Come to the Steel In Motion show in 3 weeks and hang out with us!

Looks okay shape, IMHO it needs bumpers and lowering but the volare clip looks a bit wide for that. Different wheels would help a lot, maybe different offset to tuck them in a bit more.

Get those 39 Ford teardrops off the back and replace them with some correct 40 Chevy taillamps. It appears the holes are right under the 39 Ford lamps.
Nice project, I would love it.

    Yes...
    Doing away with those tailights...
Went a picked a color for powdercoat this morning on some stock steelies.
That volare clip is going away... I hate it so much. Too wide and ugly.
How about a m2 front clip?
    Bags?
Love the bomb scene...,lots of ideas...ill be posting a lot of pics.
