I thought you might like to see this. Its a **** program but these episodes feature the building of a model T race car. It was built by Niel Tucket who is the guy my friends and I go to for model T parts and the Br*** body was built by Rod Jolly one of the UKs best coachbuilders in his day, who I worked for for a very short time.

I did a quick search and could not find it so I don't think it has been posted on here before, forgive me if it has.

Glad you like it. Not often you get a chance to see someone of Rod Jolly' s standing showing his stuff. This is the guy that was entrusted to build the bodies for the silver arrow restorations by Mercedes.

Great show. It never seemed to drag. No nonsense or drama just good detail footage.

Really nice show, informative in so many ways. Hot rods meet PBS. I could watch a lot of programming like that. Gary

  16. I bought the scuttle, doors, back panel and ch***is for my 27 Modified from Neil Tuckett. He's Mr Model T in the UK and very hot rodder friendly. An all round good bloke.

I've seen the Golden T at his workshop - very impressive.

    Here's a link to his website; http://tuckettbrothers.co.uk/

Thanks!!! Now that was fun, but I don't know if I would drive it on the old race track. Talk about pushing the envelope.

Glad you liked it. I thought it would go down well when I posted it. Probably a bit unfair of me to say the series was a bit ****. It's just some of the silly comments, spoils it for me. I didn't like the presenter getting involve like she was some expert and why was she driving the car?. All the fake drama is a bit condescending.

David--The World certainly is small. My old friend Mike Ready was a great mate to an amazing Metalcrafter named Everett Smith. Everett died of Cancer a number of years ago, but used to spend two or three months working at Rod Jolly`s shop each year. If you worked for Rod, that helps explain how talented you are. The video series has it`s high points--it`s good to see some of Rod`s work, that`s for sure...
