Ok so let's try this again, I mentioned a suspension part that requires inflating, and my post got deleted, I only made mention of it, it is not something I have done or looking for info on, but none the less. My original post was asking about channeling or chopping my 4 door, but let's talk about lowering. I have heard that you can only lower the rear by 3" before you start running into contact issues with the body, and torque tube issues. What are your suggestions for putting this thing on the ground? Do I need to change out the rear end? Etc...this is all new to me, but I have been cranking wrenches for 20+ years. Let me know your thoughts, Thanks Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I will try to get some loaded tonight, it is sitting the way it was when I found it, I just got the engine running , rebuilt the master cylinder, put new brakes on it and some cheap tires so I could drive it. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!

Oops.. STYLELINE Deluxe. Never-the-less it's a pretty cool project and will look terrific when lowered! -Dave p.s. Any more than 3" in the back will require 'C-notches' to work well.
Yes, I was also corrected by 302GMC, so thank you both for the correction. Funny thing is I was told when I bought it, that it was a Fleetline, the ***le said it was a Fleetline, and I never looked into it until now, so correction ..... Styleline it is! I love the car so the name don't matter in the long run to me , but good to know for the technical. I have been contemplating going as low as I can because I don't want to chop, or channel. Thanks!! Make sure the numbers on the ***le match the car. Chevy did not make a 4-door Fleetline in '52, though.
