Since I have a 1956 Chevy I'm building I've been saving all the pictures I can.... He's some cool ones I have collected...
The 56 is the most underated of the tri 5's, and the best looking IMHO, I've had a 55 but always wanted a 56, here is some nice Kustom 56's for some eye candy!..Brian
My 56 started out as a 2 dr 210 wagon. You can check out the build on HAMB thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/some-pics-of-my-friends-1956-elcamino.399170/
Well, I can't pass up an opportunity to post of pic of my little Yellowhammer (our state bird) Chevy on here once again.
Oh yeah, my favorite year/car. I'm currently on my TENTH 56 Chevrolet, a Sedan Delivery (my 4th Delivery). The only one I have't had, and really want, is a 150 Model, Handyman Wagon. A friend of mine has one, and he also deals in 55-57 Chevrolet cars AND parts. He has everything from screws to complete and running cars. Unfortunately, I'm not into photography, so I don't have any pics to post. Butch/56sedandelivery.
I always liked the 56 over the 57, but would still prefer a 55. I´ve had my 56 for 14 years now and will enjoy it until I kick the bucket
My 56 coupe alongside a 57 convertible belonging to my mate Ross. Both cars were imported from the US and have been converted to RHD. The 56 is running a 671 blown 383, Turbo 400 and 9" with Detroit locker and floating hubs.
Would recommend picking up the May 2014 issue of Hot Rod magazine, very interesting read and write-up on a good friend/customer about his '56! It's actually on the cover (see photos below). Nationally known ride for some time now! Thanks, Gary in N.Y. P.S. Am involved in the "powerplant-maintenance", makes some serious power AND is a 100% street-legal N.Y. ride! Both good reading and photos in this issue!
