I have a 54 chevy and going with a 350 with a 5 speed. Question I have is, Im wanting to use an aftermarket brake and clutch assembly but on a tight budget. Any ideas or if you have donethis in the past what did you use. Thanks also once I start this project I will post pics and keep everyone up to date.

Its really easy to use the factory parts, they all fit, and they work.

What do you mean "brake and clutch assembly". Pedals? Disc and pressure plate? Are you talking racing parts? Why aftermarket? I like to stay away from aftermarket parts when I can. I am assuming you are building a street machine.

Sorry I was talking about the pedals. Want to change mine to power brakes and hydraulic clutch but really looking for pedals that mount on the firewall.
