Hi everyone. I am looking for my father's 1949 Mercury 4 Door. It was unfortunately sold when he p***ed away and I am trying to find it. The last place it was in was Belmar, NJ. The picture is what it looked like when it was sold. The tail lights were crosses and there was a Madonna painted under the louvered hood. I'm hoping these less than common features might help identify it. It was listed on ebay around 2009/2010. I have a PDF of the ebay listing, partial VIN and the license plate numbers from when my father had it and the owner after him. Can anyone recommend a website or way to track it down? I'm sure the current owner loves it, I just want to see if I can buy it back or at least be notified if they ever decide to sell. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
